Nine months after the contract was inked, the sale of a vacant lot at 123 Via Fontana in Palm Beach finally closed this month, paving the way for a new $25 million lakefront house that custom-home developer Joe F. Brennan wants to build there. Brennan bought the lot through an entity named JBPB Holdings Inc. for
$4.9 million from the Augusta Jones Harrison Revocable Trust, for which PNC bank served as trustee, according to the deed recorded Jan. 17 by the Palm Beach County Clerk’s office.
Two Palm Beach powerhouse agents handled the sale. Jim McCann of the Corcoran Group represented Brennan, president of J.F. Brennan Design/Build of Palm Beach and Toronto. Listing agent Cristina Condon of Sotheby’s International Realty had set a price of $5.4 million for the lot, which sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, four streets south of Widner’s Curve.
Measuring three-quarters of an acre, the parcel boasts 130 feet of water frontage and is remarkably deep, one of only two lots between the lake and South Ocean Boulevard.
